This Lightning Ridge Black Opal weighs 6.3 ct and would look lovely as a necklace piece or collector’s piece. This piece has a rare flagstone pattern, good brightness and bright hues of green and red across the stone’s face over a black background.
The webbing and colouring of this piece was the inspiration behind the ‘leaf’ cut of the opal and helped to accentuate the rare colouring and pattern of the gem. Truely a one of a kind gem, that you are unlikely to find anything similar to.
