Shipping

Order processing typically takes 1-2 business days. Once your order has been processed, your item(s) will be shipped within that period, or within 48 hours on weekends. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. Shipping rates are charged at a flat rate of $12.50 for standard shipping and $15 for express shipping. We ship domestically using Australia Post.

Once your item has been shipped you will receive an email containing the tracking number for your shipment.

Free Shipping

We offer free domestic shipping on orders over $350. You can see if your order qualifies by using the Shipping Fee Calculator in the shopping cart. Free shipping transit time will take 3 to 7 business days and will include tracking and insurance.

International Shipping

International shipping is currently available WORLDWIDE from The Good Opal Co.. We ship internationally with DHL Express Mail for a flatrate of $50. All brokerage fees are included, however The Good Opal Co. is not responsible for customs fees or taxes incurred from importing goods – these are payable by recipient upon delivery. We ship the items fully insured and listed at full retail value. DHL Express Mail generally takes 2 to 5 business days, not including any customs delays. If a package is denied entry by customs and returned to us we will refund the cost of the item, but shipping charges are not refundable.

Returns

Web returns are eligible for exchange, store credit or refund within 10 days of order delivery. This is separate from our retail store return policy, where returns are only eligible for exchange or store credit.

Retail goods must be free from wear, use or any condition that would prevent them from being sold as new. Custom jewellery and opals are final sale and are not eligible for return.

Customers will assume responsibility for return shipping charges. The Good Opal Co. will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of return packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to the The Good Opal Co. returns office.

If all conditions are met, the original form of payment will be credited; if not, all items will be shipped back to the customer with an explanation. Customer incurs all shipping costs for all returned items.

Our jewellery is sold in as is condition. Jewellery, like all material, is susceptible to damage and requires preventative measures and maintenance. It is important to be aware of your jewellery while wearing it and to choose pieces that are appropriate for your lifestyle. We recommend removing all jewellery, especially rings, in situations when abnormal contact is expected.

Items are eligible for repair with reasonable wear and tear for up to 6 months. Reasonable wear and tear will be determined by The Good Opal Co..

If an item purchased from The Good Opal Co. incurs damage, please return it to the store. We will take the item in, review the damage and possible cause with our jeweler, and contact you with an estimate for the repair.
